About Online Shopping Review

The mission of the Online Shopping Review organization is to review the best online shopping sites, researching website design, ease of shopping, pricing, reliability, product selection, and in some cases product quality before making recommendations. Special favor is given to websites that provide the best product discounts, have unique or exclusive products which are otherwise hard to find, or are known for excellent customer service or product quality.

Note that Online Shopping Review.org may have affiliate relationships with some websites, but this has no bearing on reviews. What sets Online Shopping Review.org apart from other online review sites is we are selective about who we review and recommend. There is a limited number of merchants in each category, so vendors are easy to find. Merchants which are known for poor customer service are generally not included.

Epinions.com is an online ratings service of products, services, and businesses which provides a review forum for consumers. Note that people are much more motivated to find a place to vent their feelings when they are dissatisfied than when they are pleased, so the ratings can certainly be skewed towards the unfavorable, especially for the items or vendors that have the largest number of reviews, but it still provides a useful measure for comparison.

Bizrate.com is another online ratings service of products and vendors but unlike Epinions, only rates businesses and not individual products..
